Our Services
Our Mission
Tyler Sweeney started Revolution Energy Solutions in 2010. Since then, he has obtained professional certifications from organizations such as RESNET, BPI, NABCEP, and OSHA. Working in the fields of both energy efficiency and solar electric, Tyler is a true energy geek. Having transformed his own home into an efficiency showcase, he can speak from experience.

We offer a wide range of energy consulting services, including HERS Ratings, energy audits, blower door tests, thermal imagery, and more. We work with architects, builders, homeowners, electric utilities and local non-profits in the Roaring Fork Valley. New construction energy modeling, energy code compliance, and helping homeowners improve their homes is the focus of our work.
What is the right solution for your home
Energy Code Compliance
ERI/HERS Index has been widely adopted as the standard compliance path for energy codes in Pitkin County, the Town of Carbondale, the Town of Basalt, and the Town of Snowmass Village. Each AHJ has its own requirement, but using a similar framework.
New Construction
As part of the HERS rating process, inspections and diagnostics such as blower door/air leakage, duct leakage, and mechanical ventilation flow rate testing are required. This helps ensure high quality systems performance and building assemblies.
Existing Homes
In partnership with local non-profits CORE and CLEER, energy audits for existing homes help educate homeowners. With this information, it's possible to identify areas of energy loss and target opportunities to reduce energy usage. Health and safety considerations, and building durability are also addressed.
