Electrification is a commonly uttered buzz word these days, and for good reason.  Swapping out older natural gas or propane appliances such as your heating, hot water heating, and stove (and even your vehicle) for high efficiency electric replacements makes sense.  Heat pumps, induction cooktops, hybrid electric hot water heaters, and electric vehicles are all high performing, highly efficient, and utilize electricity, which is becoming evermore sourced from renewable energy.  Many of our local  electric utilities either already 100% renewable or are going to be in the very near future.  And local and statewide incentives are available for helping with upfront costs to make the transition to all-electric more affordable .
